Globe-horned chameleon Canvas Print

The globe-horned chameleon – is one of the several endangered chameleon species endemic to Madagascar. Slash-and-burn agriculture, cattle grazing and logging significantly decrease the rainforests of the island every year, causing habitat loss of these species usually living in severely fragmented populations already. Illegal trade is another danger.

I started with two 12 piece series featuring already extinct and critically endangered animals - these are the images of these two collections. I plan to continue the project with more collections from time to time - I've already made another portraying species of Madagascar's unique wildlife.
