The darkening and yellowing caused by the aging process was digitally removed from the paintings to restore the colors as close as possible to the original. Other aging marks - like hairline cracks typical of old oil-based paintings - were left untouched to keep the antique character of the printed images.
I'm a landscape architect, writer and illustrator currently living in Budapest. As an architect, creating illustrations for the visual presentation of a project has always been a very important part of my work but it's always been about the concept and never about the picture itself - it took me until my 30s to start to create images depicting my own stories, my own imaginary reality.
