Somewhere on the Northern seas - a ship sailing on the pattern of azure lights and shadows the early morning sunbeams create among the scattered, huge icebergs. This image is one of the 12 pieces of my series titled Sailing Seven Seas, inspired by ancient legends, myths and tales about the ocean. All pieces are available as print.
About Moira Risen
I'm a landscape architect, writer and illustrator currently living in Budapest. As an architect, creating illustrations for the visual presentation of a project has always been a very important part of my work but it's always been about the concept and never about the picture itself - it took me until my 30s to start to create images depicting my own stories, my own imaginary reality.
