Minimalist opera poster of die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - a perfect gift for opera fans.
'Die Zauberflöte tells the story of Tamino, a handsome prince, who gets lost in the forest of the Queen of the Night and goes on a mission to find and free the beautiful princess, Pamina, and win her love. More importantly, it's an allegoric story about the ancient fight between Day and Night, Good and Bad, deploying character archetypes and plot elements of tales and old myths.
The sheet music on the bottom of the poster is from 'Der Hölle Rache', one of the most known Mozart arias and also one of the most difficult soprano arias ever written.
This poster is part of my continuously augmented opera-themed poster collection featuring the works of Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Wagner, Rossini and other great composers. '
