Vintage botanical illustration of a royal poinciana tree (Poinciana/Delonix regia), also known as flamboyant tree, ‘flame of the forest’ and flame tree.

The original drawing was made by Madame Berthe Hoola van Nooten for a 19th century book portraying exotic tropical flowers, fruits and plants from the island of Java. Digitally restored and cleaned.
